1.       What role has technology played in mankind’s history?

 It played a big role in both the uprising and downfall of great nations throughout time.

2.       Which technological advances does the film highlight? Why?

One advancement noticeable in the film would be the development of written communication. the reason I think this is important is because it helps communicate various types of information, plays a big part in government, sheer entertainment, or even for something as simple as wanting to say hello to a friend or loved one. Another advancement I'd like to touch on is acceleration in weapons technology. We went from simple things like using spears and rocks to hunt for our food to controlling nations through nuclear warfare.

3.       Make a prediction: what are some technologies that you think will exist in the future?

 I think we'll have things such as home robotics, curing previously incurable diseases, robotic body part replacement, and genetic alteration.
